Dominic Rogers: Mammut is a mountaineering based company founded over 160 years ago and we originally started producing ropes and since then we started producing a lot more hardware products.
There’s a strong emphasis on quality and when you’re in the mountains you need high quality products to be able to ensure you have the safety that you need when you’re doing big pursuits that are challenging in their own nature and you want to know that you can trust your gear.
Markus Dittli: Mammut is a famous, premium outdoor brand. Famous for mountaineering, alpinism, and focusing on quality, performance, functionality and design.
Dominic Rogers: My name is Dominic Rogers, I’m the Product Owner for Mammut.com here at Mammut.
Markus Dittli: My name is Markus Dittli, I am head of IT Solutions Delivery. Me and my team we are responsible for maintaining, operating the entire tech stack, including ecommerce, for Mammut.com.
Dominic Rogers: Having a digital presence is a must-have for a brand like Mammut…we are very well known throughout the world even though Mammut.com doesn’t necessarily ship globally.
Markus Dittli: Performance, functionality is a key aspect of our products and our users expect also the same to be available and presented on our digital channels.

It’s amazing how we can surprise and delight our customers when they come to buy a Mammut product to replace a jacket that they’ve had for fifteen, twenty years. And then they can see we have this amazing online presence.
