Git was built for a world where humans wrote every commit. That’s fading fast. Coding agents can generate and revise code faster than most review processes were made to handle, and the infrastructure underneath is being rebuilt around a different kind of primary user.
Treating agents as first-class users of the software we build is the idea behind Agent Experience (AX). It’s also why we brought Git in-house with Netlify Source, native infrastructure designed to preserve more than code, but the prompts, context, and decisions an agent needs to pick up where it left off.
SpaceXAI is making a version of the same bet with Origin, its own Git hosting built for that kind of agent-driven scale. Netlify is one of the first platforms integrating with it, and repositories on Origin now build, preview, and deploy the same way GitHub, GitLab, and Bitbucket repositories already do.
Push a commit, and Netlify starts a build. Open a pull request, and you get a deploy preview, with the build status and a preview link posted straight back to the PR.
If you already use Netlify with another Git host, nothing about your workflow changes, it’s just one more place to connect from.
