How to Build a Performant Retail Site without Compromising Design
Meet Aether Apparel: an outdoor clothing retailer that increased performance and sales by going headless. They needed an online experience that would match a boutique in-store experience. Their shift to headless empowered teams to develop unique product detail pages with custom designs. In this project recap, we’ll talk about:
- How they used physical store layout as an inspiration for their digital look and feel
- Adding editorial context to product pages via product presentation, pairing with other items, and educating on specs and uses
- How their agency built 30 designed, customizable sections using Next.js, Sanity, and Mux
